Description
I am trying out new techniques to get good results quickly. I didn't start in black and white this time, but immediately in color. Sorry, only one light source this time, but it is colored at least. : )

Not bad at all, and I think this is your best so far! You have a nice variation of colors within the green, which is much more pleasing than one consistent color.
From this point, I would try to strengthen the lighting even further. You should be able to tell the position of the light source based on the shadows and highlights. Here is a good example for highlights: [link] And here is a decent example of shadows: [link] Notice the sharp 'cast shadow' beneath the nose, and the softer cast shadow on the neck. This is a great way to sharpen the lighting.
